[classic-discuss] Postfix/Cyrus POP3

I realized the /etc/sysconfig/saslauthd change didn't effect the POP3
authentication. I changed it back to pam and the POP3 authen still worked.
The /etc/cyrus-imapd/imapd.conf change seems to effect the authen.
The main.cf changes were minimal....domain/inet_interfaces stuff
I guess I've never tried to create an IMAP account. I can login to the
IMAP server via telnet localhost 143 and login with the same credentials as
the POP3 account. When I send a message from the Outlook IMAP account the
message ends up in /home/tonyb/Maildir/new. I can't get the Outlook IMAP
account to the read the mail in this location. Is this the correct
location for mail?

What did you change in /etc/postfix/main.cf?
I don't understand why you use POP3 instead of IMAP.
