Hi, All.
I wasn't sure which group was best for answering this question, so
cross-posted it.
It has been several years since I worked in a Red Hat environment, I
have been using versions and variants of Debian lately.
I downloaded the kernel source RPM, and "installed" it. Now, I don't
find the actual kernel source, although I find, in /usr/src/tinysofa,
Spec files and a LOT of Config files.
Where do I look, and is there anything special that I need to do to
re-compile a kernel. Most of my kernels lately have been compiled from
"virgin" source, and I am quite comfortable with that process.
In case anybody is wondering, this is related to my question earlier
about my SCSI tape drive. Although dmesg says that the SCSI system is
initialized, I suspect that the reason that the system says that there
are no SCSI devices could be the driver for the Tekram controller card
that I am using.
Adv-Thanks-ance,
Brian
